What is depression?
According to University of Michigan Depression Centre, depression is a real illness that impacts the brain. Anyone suffering from depression will tell you, it’s not imaginary or “all in your head.” Depression is more than just feeling “down.” It is a serious illness caused by changes in brain chemistry.

Below I will share with you three(3) major way to handle depression.
  • Face your mirror. Allow yourself to face the truth about your reality. Accept it!
  • Vent. Let out your true feelings. When you cover it and a wear a mask, eventually it will wear

    you down. Let it out by writing about it, crying about it or confessing it.

  • Start ANEW. Start by creating a new life. Do things differently by thinking about the positives and letting fear GO totally. God said He will never leave you or forsake you which means you are always guarded and nothing happens to you without His permission. If God allows certain things to happen to you that hurt, He does it out of love and also for a greater purpose than your emotions. It is hard to see that when you are actually hurting but later down the road, you will see the real reason or reasons why certain events took place in your life.
