God has given every soul a GIFT within. It is your responsibility to ensure this gift is unlocked and carried out. It would be a huge regret on the day you face death, you realize that you never contributed to the world. Some persons have the gift of writing, some have the gift of singing and some – the gift of preaching. The world is filled with complaints and negative energy, what it lacks is YOUR gift!
1 Corinthians 12:7-11 “To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.”
Your gift/talent will lead you directly into your purpose. One thing purpose is not and that something that is forced. If you find yourself doing something lazily or you have to force yourself to get up and go at it, it is NOT your purpose! Your gift is something you are naturally great at and you enjoy doing it. It is not about
earning a living with it, it is about giving it to the world! It doesn’t mean you quit your job, it means balancing your life and time that you make space for something you love doing and something you give to the world. Sometimes that gift is an avenue to affluence beyond your wildest dreams. But it should never be about how much money it can drive into your life.
Below are the guidelines to find that gift and how to use that gift.
- Write down what you love doing! Even if it sounds crazy like you enjoy making people happy by giving candy everyday. Write it down.
- Pray about it. Yes, pray! Whatever you do, you must consult God! Bring it to God in prayer. You must not negate from the reality that not everything you love to do is good for you. So you need God to direct you into what is good for you.
- Draft a blueprint. You need a plan! Plan your life. Don’t allow life to dictate how you live but
you be the one to monitor and direct how you desire your days to go. Write down your goals aligning them to your contribution to the world.
- ACT. A plan without action is really futile. Act on purpose. Don’t wait on God to do something for you, do something and He will step in and do the rest once it is within His Will for your life. But whatever you do, ensure it contributes to the world in a positive light!
1 Peter 4:10 “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace:”
You are not a mistake. You are not here by accident and you are reading this because you need this message! I strongly believe that we ALL need each other and we all need the gifts each has to offer to the greater mission of God. You were made by love, in love, when God decided to create you and He indeed made no error. All He needs from you is your heart, your mind fixed on all things concerning Heaven and your body to be reflective of His virtues ultimately contributing to His Kingdom.
Ask yourself this, “If I die today, have I fulfil my purpose?”
